Already got into the lake and cooled off...do they look pitiful enough to be let in yet??
Pictured Rocks area...along Lake Superior
I can never resist an old barn...
These pictures are from the glass bottom shipwreck boat tour-very nice tour and very well done!
We saw the pictured rocks from the shipwreck tour...
We passed two of these restaurants, but just couldn't get up the appetite to stop and eat...something about the name I guess...
We ate here our first night out-it was a fun place to eat!
These two shots are of our first hotel room-very old and outdated, but very clean and well maintained!
These next shots are of the Quincy Mine. We took an underground tour of the mine-it was GREAT!!!
Once we got to this tram, we could feel the cold air just blasting out of the mine. The year-round temperature is only 43 degrees!
That bright pink speck is me standing next to this massive building!
If you get to the U.P.-you need to make sure to stop and take the tour at the Quincy Mine-you won't regret it!
Next we stopped at a very old roadside cemetery...it was a very peaceful place with markers as old as 1843 and as new as 1994.
Eagle River Falls and bridge...
Old schoolhouse across from the falls...
Lake Superior...
Jacob's Falls...right on the side of the road...
