A few weeks ago, I big on a couple of snowflake garland Pyrex bowl that were for sale in an online auction. They had a buy it now price and also a best offer button, I clicked the best offer button and the seller and I went back and forth a few times until we agreed on a price-that was a decent amount lower than their buy it now price.
I immediately paid, which I always do...I'm always amazed when sellers leave feedback applauding my quick payment. I never realized until recently that some people don't pay right away. Some wait until the last possible moment, and some never pay at all. That's part of the reason that I don't sell online.
After paying, life happened and things got hectic and busy and I kind of forgot about my purchase. It arrived the other day, and having forgot about it, I had to really think hard about what it could be when I was opening the box.
To my surprise, on top of all of the mounds of bubble wrap, there was a little card in an envelope. I have gotten little notes from sellers before, so I smiled to myself, appreciating that they put the extra effort into saying thank you.
This is what I saw when I pulled the card out of the envelope and opened it:
How's that for customer service!??!? I only wish the feeback section was larger so I could leave a longer review!!
These are the bowls...almost done with this set, only need the little to finish!

A really nice gesture -- great customer service!
ReplyDeleteWow! That is awesome. I love to buy online and also get that 'quick payment' comment. How nice to give you a refund for the extra time it took. Love the bowls!

I always pay right away too, that should be expected but I guess some folks don't feel that way. How sweet of the seller to do that. I had a late shipment recently and the seller included a pack of notecards she designed. Most sellers are great!
ReplyDeleteLove the bowls, that look to be in perfect condition. :)
What a sweetheart! I always enjoy the thank you notes I receive with purchases. I pay as soon as I can right after "getting" the item online.
