Shopping My Own Garage Sale?

I've been busy unpacking bins of glassware for my garage sale, that I had priced and ready to go to the booth. I forgot I had so many things!!! As I was unwrapping piece after piece yesterday, I kept setting things aside! Things I can't believe I planned to sell in the first place. Things I now can't live without. Isn't that crazy!?!

An added benefit...when I opened the garage door after work today it smelled like fabric softener/old lady perfume and antiques! Much better than garage smell!

I've had a ton of people contact me about the sale, it looks like I'm not going to make it for this weekend...too much to do still and no more space! I have some more tables coming early next week and I have a canopy I can set up,so it looks like next weekend is the target date now. I'll let you know as soon as I know for sure! Thanks for asking!!!

  1. Wonderful stuff to keep!

I am packing stuff up & unpacking boxes I had packed up & am shocked at the stupid crap I bought from the thrifts.

Good luck when you do have the sale!

  2. Ha ha! You made me laugh out loud because I am finding all kinds of "stupid crap I bought" too! :) I guess we all do it!!
Thanks for wishing me luck-I'm going to need it to get rid of all of this!

  3. I love having garage sells. I'm needing to declutter. May have to do this myself. It's a lot of work, but it's fun!

  4. Yeah, I wouldn't be able to part with those things either! Love aqua Pyrex!

  5. I can't believe that you were going to sell that Balloons Pyrex at your garage sale! Glad you came to your senses :-)

  6. this seems to be going around, I mean having a yard sale unpacking boxes of dishes we have had packed up for some time now.
I am really to clean it all out, my daughter took all my pyrex bowls
plenty of depression glass and old jars to sell .
    I'm hoping for June 13th

  7. The best part of shopping your own garage sale is that you don't have to pay for it all a second time! Hang on to those treasures...
