What is it??

I picked this up a couple of weeks ago at a sale, it was really cheap and covered in dog hair. I thought I could use it in the booth to display linens...I have no idea what it really is...do you?

After a good scrubbing and a coat of cranberry red (my new favorite Rustoleum color!)...I think I want to keep it to display my own vintage linens! What do you think?

What do you think it is? It has two hinges at the top and can open up to a straight, long thingy ma bob.

I am linking up to Junker Newbie's "Would You Buy it Wednesday"-hop on over there and check out all the fun stuff everyone has been finding!

  1. I'm pretty sure it's part of a childs chalkboard easel. If you go to my blog http://daranger911.blogspot.com you will see a picture of mine on the sidebar towards the bottom. Good idea to use it as a linen display! Or you could hang magazines on it.

  3. I like it! Maybe would have bought it, I like the idea of linens hanging from it, plants would also be good.

  4. It looks like an easel.
I'd probably use it to drape magazines over...and maybe a lap quilt.
    I love the color.

  5. Hi Kim! It's been far too long since I visited your blog. Your new look is beautiful!

I think that's a stand for washtubs. There should be space for two round metal washtubs once it is set up.

  6. I was thinking an easel also. You will have to take another pic for us when it is covered in linens. Sherry :)
