Did I Finally Find Bark Cloth?

I've been searching for bark cloth for a while now. Especially since I got the vintage wicker chaise-hoping to make a cushion out of it. Yesterday I found a bag with a giant piece of material, and a set of curtains for $1.50.


Is it bark cloth? Now that I have it, I'm not so sure it is what I want for the cushion-so I guess the search continues!

    Good question - has the look but can't quite see the weave. Great vintage pattern though.

    It looks like a barkcloth pattern. Is there a texture to the fabric? If there is there's a good chance that it's the real thing. If not, it's still vintage & still cool!
