The Best Treausre You'll Ever Receive!

It seems only fitting to start off with the biggest and best bargain or treasure you will ever receive, the free gift of salvation and a new eternal life (relationship) with Christ. Without my relationship with Christ, my life would not be what it is today, and I wouldn’t be who I am now. Because salvation or eternal life is a free gift, there is nothing that we can do to earn it.

The question is: do you want a new life? Do you want more than your present life that ends in death? Do you hunger for a life that has meaning and purpose the way God designed it to be? Do you want to be at peace with God, at peace with yourself, at peace with others? Then here's what the Bible says you have to do:

CONFESS YOUR SINS.
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."
(1 John 1:9)

BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that whoever believes in him will not perish but have eternal life."
(John 3:16 NLT)

RECEIVE GOD'S GIFT OF NEW LIFE BY FAITH.
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-- and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--
not by works, so that no one can boast."
(Ephesians 2: 8,9)
You don't have to use fancy words, or try to impress God when you talk with him. That's what praying is all about. Telling God honestly and simply what's on your heart and mind. So go ahead! Tell God you're sorry for your sins. That you want to trust Jesus' death on the cross to save you, and that you want a new life in Christ.

Becoming a Christian is easy. Being a Christian requires more work and understanding. Of course, there are some things that just make sense to help you grow in your faith and learn more about Jesus. Like reading the Bible, going to church to hear His Word (the Bible) proclaimed, and being in fellowship with other believers. (Just be sure you go to a church where Jesus is truly worshiped as Lord, and the Bible is held up as the authority for all questions of faith and life.)
