Can You Help?

Hi Everyone!

This is a different post for me, I don't normally ask for help like this, but this is for someone very near and dear to my heart. Please read below, and if you are able to help-we would greatly appreciate it, if not, thanks so much for reading through to the end-and please keep us in your prayers!!

As you may or may not have heard, my cousins Denise and her husband Will have a beautiful daughter Zoe, that was born with spina bifida and they are participating in a fundraiser walk for Spina bifida on June 22nd in Monroe. I've really been feeling like I needed to help out, but I wanted to do more than just a donation. So, I am joining them on the walk!

We are TEAM ZOE and we want you to join us too! We need more people to walk with us, and yes raise some support money too. It is super easy to register on their website, and you can pick whatever amount you feel comfortable with trying to raise. If you don't meet your goal, you don't have to pay that amount yourself-it is just a goal to try to achieve. You can set it as low as $100, or the sky is the limit.

Zoe has brought so much joy and love to our lives, and we can help her and other kids (or adults) who were born with spina bifida by just walking! It's a short walk-it starts at 10am and the closing remarks are at 11am! You could be home and relaxing by 1:00-how easy it that?!? It is such a short walk, that kids can walk with their parents! What a great opportunity to get kids involved in giving of themselves to help others!!! They could even collect soda cans from home and turn them in and use that money as a donation if they can't join us for the walk...

I think it would be a HUGE support to Denise and Will if we all joined together to support them and walked together as a group. What do you say? Are you in?

No worries if you can't make it, we WILL miss you, but we will understand. Let me know if you want to join TEAM ZOE, or visit the spina bifida association of Michigan's website and sign up to join TEAM ZOE. Use this link to join our team

If you can't walk and still want to help, you can make a donation at this link

Under participant name enter: Kim Traud or Will Williamson (although he is already half way to his goal...and I am at 0%-just sayin!) :)

Hope you can join us!!! Even just $5 will be a BIG help! Please help spread the word too!!!

Thanks for reading this and for considering joining us!
