A wee bit of green...

Today was dealer day at the antique mall where I have my booth, and since it is close to St. Patrick's Day, and spring is just around the corner, I loaded in a ton of green! I was able to move around all of the leftover reds and whites from the Valentine's display and get 3 bins full of greens set up. The only things that came home with me were a child's rocking chair, an old wooden box and a bowl...that I decided to keep for a while-LOL!

While I was there, I noticed the dealer across the aisle from me had two things in his booth that I've had in my booth for almost a year! I've had mine priced at $12 each and his were $33 each...I had just moved mine to a low, bottom shelf when I saw his, so I moved mine front and center before I left. I was going to discount them to $6 next month...we'll see if anything happens now.

I take pictures of my booth when I am all done so that while I am at home planning my next display, I can take a look at how it was the month before so I can make it totally different for the next month. It is a LOT of work to do a whole new theme every month, but I enjoy it and it has been working, I think, as far as sales go. I do a lot better when I change it up than when it is the same old same old every month.

Here is what it looked like when I left...

  2. I always love it when vendors do that, and it makes me want to buy when it is so color coordinated!

  3. Isn't it funny that you have the same items at such different prices? Sounds like he isn't paying as close attention to things as you are. :-) I too always take photos of my space when I'm done rearranging so I don't forget what it looks like. Happy St Patrick's day!
