Slowly, but surely...

Little by little, slowly but surely, I am finishing up all of the Fiesta collections that I started. The pieces I am looking for are somewhat hard to find--especially in my price range. It give me something to look for, and it feels like winning the lottery when I do find a piece.

Look what I found this week!
The last side insert for my last relish tray and a teeny, tiny Harlequin individual creamer! I'm looking for the cobalt and green creamers to finish that set, and still need the center insert for the relish tray.

Here is the tray in a clear Plexiglas holder that helps it to stand up.

Once this is complete, it will be my third relish tray. This one started by accident. I found the tray at a consignment shop for $13, and since I got that for such a steal, I new I had to be just as frugal when buying the inserts. That's why it has taken so long to get to this point. I have a feeling it will be a good long time until I finish it, because I am not wiling to spend what the center inserts are selling for.

Do you have any collections that you've been slowly, but surely filling over the years? I'd love to see them and hear about your hunt!!

  1. Those relish tray pieces are super rare around here. I don't believe I have ever seen even one piece! You must have been giddy when you found that last insert. Fingers crossed that you don't have too long of a wait for the center piece.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

    1. Hi Erica!
YES! I was beyond giddy!!! The problem with the waiting and the searching is I end up finding more things to add to my collection or hoard! The hunt is the best part!
